PRIME VSAR 1.7

The latest version of PRIME VSAR brings support for Unreal Engine 4.26, rapid-to-create and easy-to-manage graphic templates, as well as significant upgrades to the core PRIME VSAR engine.

Discover how PRIME VSAR streamlines virtual production from input, through design and the newsroom, and onward to live playout!

Unreal Engine 4.26

Lifelike Characters and Natural Worlds
Unreal 4.26 introduces features for rendering strand-based hair and sequencing animations to create more realistic characters. On the environment side, the ability to generate volumetric clouds, atmospheric lighting, and fluid water physics enables the creation of stunning natural scenes.

Virtual Production Improvements
New tools for virtual production include a REST-compliant Remote Control API for creation of custom control interfaces, as well as NVIDIA NVLink, which enables data transfer between two GPUs when fulfilling a larger volume LED display.

Higher-Quality Media Output
Unreal's Movie Render Queue can generate higher-quality scene outputs with top-notch anti-aliasing, motion-blur, and ultra-high resolution. With 4.26, designers have greater control over output render pass elements for hand-off to downstream editing suites.

More PRIME Design Simplicity

 Weather Forecasting Template
Plug your weather data source of choice into PRIME VSAR to drive a ready-made forecasting template that visualizes temperature highs/lows and a 3D model of each day's weather conditions.

Virtual Screen Template
Manage media playout in a stunning virtual studio with ease through PRIME VSAR's virtual screen template. Upon placement in a scene, an operator or NRCS-user can quickly create a playlist with desired images and video - and drive playout with simple A/B switch control.

Asset-Driven Augmented Reality
Traditionally complex augmented reality operations - such as shadow creation, planar reflections, and foreground object masking - now function as straightforward assets you can drag, drop, and customize for your scene.

Greater VSAR Production Horsepower

More Cameras Per Engine
Get more camera angles with fewer boxes, as PRIME VSAR 1.7 implements support for two cameras per engine. In a vendor landscape where one camera equals one engine - this is a gamechanger.

UHD Support
Input cameras and output your virtual production in UHD video formats via quad-link connectivity with PRIME VSAR's Matrox DSXLE I/O cards.

Real-time SDI Preview
For virtual productions where absolute confidence-monitoring is a must, PRIME VSAR now allows for the dedication of an engine to rendering real-time SDI previews of each scene take - before you bring it to air.

Internal Unreal Chroma Keyer
With implementation for Unreal 4.25 in the last release, PRIME VSAR now features the Unreal Chroma Keyer. Perfect for getting a professional-grade chroma key without the need for a costly external system.

Browser-Based Trackless Production Interface
The new Mercury Panel (based on Chyron Panels technology) provides a simple, visual interface to store and recall preset virtual camera movements in trackless applications.
