LEARN HOW EVERTON FC LEVERAGES TRACAB PLAYER TRACKING DATA
ChyronHego's TRACAB® Optical Player Tracking system is installed in all 20 stadia of the English Premier League and is the global standard for live performance data capture across all the top class leagues and tournaments including the Bundesliga, La Liga, Eredivisie, J-League, UEFA Champions League, FIFA World Cup and the English Championship, amongst many others.
TRACAB uses advanced image-processing technology to calculate the position of all moving objects on the field of play in real-time.
The live data feed of positional coordinates from all 22 players, referees and the ball are transmitted at a high frequency of 25 times per second and power a wide variety of applications such as our web-based TRACAB Portal. The portal provides automated physical statistics tailored to clubs to access, both live during a game or post match.
Focusing directly on the needs of advanced performance analysis, the data collected by TRACAB provides a wealth of information allowing clubs and teams of all sports at all levels to better analyze the performance of their players.
Watch the video to see how Everton Football Club’s Matt Taberner, Head of Sports Science, leverages the data from the TRACAB system to gain greater insight into his players and team performance alongside data from training ground wearable tracking technologies to balance workload and help reduce the risks of injury.
In addition, the video also focuses on our highly acclaimed COACH PAINT telestation solution that revolutionizes the way that coaches communicate with players through professional video analysis. Used extensively across the English Premier League Clubs and many more clubs internationally, Coach Paint can be integrated with TRACAB to provide significant workflow advantages.
